You ran your fingers through my hair, pulling me closer. My eyes held your gaze as your mouth found mine. You tasted sweet as I knew you would. I surrendered my mouth to you as my fingers began undoing the buttons on your shirt. I pulled it over your shoulders and ran my hands over your chest, feeling your muscles contract under my touch. You deepened the kiss, and I felt my legs begin to buckle from the intensity of it. My hands went to your belt, my fingers fumbling with the clasp finally getting it undone. I wanted your body, naked and beautiful against mine.
I had fallen in love with you the moment I saw you and something in your eyes told me you felt the same and now the moment I had been waiting for was here.
I sighed as our mouths parted. I lifted my head, looking at you, wondering why you were not undressing me. Something in your eyes, a flicker of doubt, made me shiver.
You went to speak but I brought my fingers to your lips, stopping you. It wasn’t words I needed, it was you, holding me, loving me, bringing me to heights of passion that I had never felt before.
You pulled my fingers away and I strained my ears to hear your words.
"Michael, I just want you to know. I’m HIV positive"
Time stood still.
